Transitional Kindergarten
Transitional Kindergarten (TK) provides a strong foundation for students as they begin their school experience. Our TK program focuses on developing the social, emotional, language, early literacy, and early math skills students need to be successful in kindergarten and beyond.
Students will build independence, learn classroom routines, develop relationships with teachers and classmates, and practice working and playing cooperatively with others. Through hands-on learning and engaging activities, students will develop early skills in recognizing letters and sounds, building vocabulary, listening and speaking, writing, counting, identifying numbers, recognizing shapes, and solving simple problems.
TK is designed to help students grow as confident, curious, and independent learners while preparing them for the academic and social expectations of kindergarten.
